Kim Doran

Kim’s love of animals started at an early age. Being born into a family with a vast number of pets, from rabbits, hamsters, cats & dogs to stick insects, chickens, ponies & horses….Having a riding instructor mother, meant a childhood spent out in the fields and a firm understanding of animal behaviours engrained from a young age! She would often be found studying a bucket of frogs, playing with goats or volunteering for a local donkey derby if she wasn’t out competing on her own and others ponies/horses.

Kim has worked for some of the best international competitors in the world, both at home and away at international showjumping shows as well as competing to a high level herself. From here, she moved into working with horses in Film and TV. Kim has gained many years of invaluable experience in all areas of film, including care on and off set/ international transporting/ riding/ doubling cast and teaching actors to ride.

Kim is incredibly passionate about animal welfare and is a strong advocate for rescue charities and the work they do. Kim took her current dog in (from Hungary) at the grand old age of 14!
