Marco Solis

For more than 23 years, Marco has dedicated his career to working with animals in the film and television industry. He began his journey in 2000 as an animal keeper for Animal Actors of Hollywood, where he cared for a wide range of species and laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to animal welfare and professional handling. In 2002, he joined Reptile Rentals Inc., where he continues to serve as a Wild Animal Trainer and Safety Coordinator. In this role, Marco collaborates closely with directors, producers, and production crews to ensure safe, ethical, and well‐coordinated animal interactions on set. Marco’s expertise extends beyond studio sets. As a wildlife consultant, he has traveled internationally with film crews to help photograph, film, and identify local fauna, flora, and wildlife. Although reptiles are his specialty, Marco has worked with many different animal species throughout his decades in the industry. His deep knowledge of animal behavior and  unwavering commitment to safety have made him a trusted professional across numerous productions. Marco now looks forward to contributing his extensive experience to the Animal Protection Agency, where he hopes to continue protecting animals in production and ensuring their well‐being on every set.
