Mitchell Gramazio

Mitchell Gramazio has always known he would end up working with animals for the length of his career. Additionally, while attending the University of Georgia, his creative side was able to come out by participating as an extra in multiple major motion picture films around the Atlanta area. He graduated with a B.S. in Biology and subsequently moved down to Orlando, Florida where he would work at one of the largest aquariums in the country. In his 7 years there, his work ranged widely from training dolphins and manatees to sharks and rays. He has also worked on breeding programs for aquatic species of seahorses, cuttlefish, and jellyfish. Upon moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico, he continues to work with marine animals and has broadened his range of animal experience to include shore birds and river otters. When Mitch isn’t spending his time ensuring high quality animal care, he enjoys hiking and camping with his partner and family pack of dogs.
