Jami Lovullo | Founder and President
Jami LoVullo has worked in virtually every facet of the animal business from zoo keeping to veterinary assistant to on-set safety rep to animal trainer. Her commitment to animals is evident by the fact that she has rarely held a job that was non-animal related during her lifetime.
Jone Bouman | Executive Director
When working with animal ambassadors in entertainment Jone Bouman brings decades of pertinent experience to the table. As the National Director for The Animal Protection Agency, Jone’s expertise includes local and national public relations and publicity, outstanding communications acumen, myriad successful outreach campaigns, and a vast knowledge of the intricacies of working with animals; be they rescued, in shelters, in need, or on large, and home, screens.
Gina Johnson | Secretary and Treasurer
An animal lover since early childhood, Gina has had an innate way with animals and always nurtured her pets. She started riding at age 5 and got her first horse at age 10. This taught her about the responsibility of caring for animals. She instinctively knew she wanted to work with animals professionally and has been doing so for 40 years.

Steve Smith | Board Member
Veterinary surgeon who graduated with honors from the Royal Veterinary College London in 2002. Following the completion of a four-year Specialist training program, he became a European Veterinary Specialist in Avian Medicine and Surgery in 2011. Since 2008 Steve has worked as the veterinary surgeon on set for many film, TV and theatre productions and had also been the lead vet for many of the animals used in the industry. He is a co-partner of Film & TV Veterinary Services which provides vets to major productions, and also currently works as the head vet at the largest wildlife hospital in the UK.
