Sandra Dow

Sandra Dow was born and raised in Scotland but has since moved to Devon. She grew up one of five kids surrounded by animals. She has owned horses since she was 3 years old and is a qualified riding instructor. Before moving south, Sandra lived on a farm with horses, dogs, cats, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks and geese. She has been involved with the filming industry for 14 years mostly with horses, grooming and stunt doubling. She currently enjoys that she is able to work with a variety of other animals through the Animal Protection Agency. In addition to being a riding instructor, her other interests involve driving horses, grooming at FEI level for the British No. 1 Four-In Hand team. Currently at home she has one horse, a Lusitanio and a rescue dog. Throughout her life she has always ended up with a lot of rescue animals, to the point where her friends always called her farm The Sanctuary. She is pleased to put er years of professional experience into the field of protecting animals and feels lucky to be part of this team.
